When Your Back Feels Like Armor

Sit back and do a body check-in with me. Does your body feel stiff and rigid? Does it feel like you are not only wearing body armor, but your physical body is BECOMING body armor? Yeah, I know that feeling. The constant dull ache of the muscles along either side of the spine. The hard and tight upper trap muscles. Stiff and rigidness in the neck. The tension travelling up the back of the neck and tension headaches at the end of the day. Have you ever noticed that you only feel these things after having to be around people all day or maybe after a day out shopping?


Empaths are sensitive people that pick up easily on the energy, emotions, and sensations of the people they are around. And we are more common than you think. Because of how easily we pick up stuff from other people, we need to be diligent about separating what is ours from what is not. If you are an empath, sensitive, intuitive, or maybe you just have loads of persistent upper back, neck, and shoulder tension, I have something for you.

I recorded a guided visualization that will walk you through taking off this armor, cleansing your energy, and then making a decision to put the armor back on or not. Try using this guided visualization as a daily grounding and cleansing practice. Once you have a handful of these sessions under your belt, these are the things you can look forward to.

  • Better discernment in putting on and taking off your armor as needed throughout the day.
  • Ability to tell the difference between what is your and what is not yours to carry.
  • Clearing out energy, emotions, and sensations that are not yours.
  • Desire to clean up energetic boundaries more regularly to keep from carrying others stuff for too long.
